Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is well-known American actress. She's appeared in many films and TV series, including "Christy", a comedy about a teenage girl known as Christy Huddleston. Kellie Martin is most well-known for her performance as a protagonist of The Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin began her acting career when she was seven years old. The aunt of her mother, who worked as the nanny for actor Michael Landon's children, helped her land an unimportant role in the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. Following her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting and was able to land substantial roles in the film and television industries. Martin, besides being an actor, is also an accomplished photographer and ballet dancer. Being a mom to two kids, she has become the National spokesperson for Lupus. She has promoted awareness of Lupus since the time her younger sister died due to the disease at 19.
